Management Team

  • Jason Regalbuto

    As CTO and CEO, Jason is responsible for the leadership of our client's technology initiatives but also in the shaping and execution of the company's vision and positioning. He leads a highly capable technical team in implementing key strategic initiatives, ensuring current technology platforms. He has hands on experience developing and achieving strategic technology initiatives. He selects and implements, working with CTO Web Technology Services, standards for system development and tools. Oversees server and systems operation, performs direct development with the company management team, on IT-sponsored initiatives, and mentors more junior staff in management, operational and developmental skills.

    Jason has extensive Information Technology experience as CEO of Osborn & Robert, Inc. and as Vice President of Stubbs & Wootton, Inc., both based in Palm Beach, Florida. At these firms, he developed the Information Technology infrastructure, eCommerce Web site, as well as systems for Point Of Sales, Purchasing, Procurement, and Inventory Management.

  • James P. Kelly

    JP has the responsibility for the overall direction, coordination and administration of all financial strategies, policies and controls for OpenClose and its divisions. He manages, motivates and develops a dynamic sales force to meet profit goals, while keeping the executive staff apprised of financial trends, based on timely and accurate financial and operating information, allowing the executive team to act promptly and intelligently in response to competitive market opportunities.

    As the primary contact with bankers, analysts and other financial constituents, JP devises and implements potential, future financing/I.P.O. Strategy. He plans and directs all aspects of Beanstalk Networks sales policies, practices, objectives and initiatives; ensures maximum sales volume of products and services; helps develop new prospects; and interacts with existing customer accounts. He brings extensive experience as a mortgage banker as well, acting as President and Co-founder of Magellan Mortgage Group, a full-service mortgage bank with offices in Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio and Indiana.

  • Michael Brenner
    General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

    Mike is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, and has an extensive background representing clients in the mortgage and financial services industry. Mike served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Mortgage.com, the first publicly traded provider of online mortgage and other e-commerce financial services to consumers and businesses in the U.S. with nationwide operations in mortgage lending, software development, licensing and marketing e-commerce, finance and technology services. Mike has over 15 years of experience representing significant clients which provide mortgage and technology products to the financial services industry, has been a guest speaker at the MBA technology conference, and is the author of “On Line Financial Service Leaders- A Report From Cyberspace, Mortgage and Consumer Lenders, What they are doing, how they are doing it and what are they going to do next?” The Florida Bar Lecture Series.

    In addition, Mike has over twenty years of successful experience representing prominent publicly traded multi-national corporations: he served as chief legal officer (and for a term of 2 years as CEO) for Orange-Co, Florida's leading publicly traded citrus producer (NYSE); chief legal officer for Burnup & Sims (n/k/a Mastec), a leading publicly traded telecommunication construction company (NYSE), and also served four years as Deputy City Attorney for the City of West Palm Beach, Florida, during which he managed a nine lawyer department responsible for all legal functions of the largest city in Palm Beach County Florida.

    Mike received his Doctor of Laws (J.D.) from Stetson University College of Law, in St. Petersburg, Florida and is admitted to The Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

  • Frank Bocchino
    VP Marketing& Social Media

    Frank is a business communications specialist who has held positions in marketing, advertising, public relations, and journalism for a variety of companies, from Fortune 100 members to start ups. He specializes in marketing plan creation, brand establishment, lead generation and publicity campaign creation. Frank began his career in corporate communications with Merrill Lynch in New York.

    Specialized in lead generation, brand development, search engine optimization (SEO) and social media. A MarCom jack-of-all-trades, Frank has worked in for the Fortune 100 and technology start ups, as a Vice president of marketing, magazine writer, PR and Advertising exec, creative director, and everything in between.Schooled as a writer, self-taught graphic designer, and seasoned C-Level professional with extensive experience in high tech, online marketing and social media. Specialties include lead generation, search engine optimization (SEO), social media, PPC, inbound marketing, outbound email marketing, branding and identity, writing, design, content creation. Frank has also been the editor of four business trade publications, and is a graduate of Boston University with a B.A. degree in English, and a minor in Communications. In 2004, Frank was named to the CMO Council, a highly influential organization of upper echelon marketing and brand decision-makers in the technology industry.

  • Vince Furey
    SVP Lending Solution

    With more than 20 years of senior level banking experience, Vince has extensive experience in national sales, lending technology, operations, credit, secondary marketing and compliance. He comes to OpenClose from Ovation7, LLC, a national consulting and business services firm he founded. There, he provided C-level outsourced solutions to the banking and financial services industries with a specialization in CIO/CTO level technology consulting, business development, loan delivery and strategic planning.

    Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions in the retail, wholesale and correspondent sales and operations at Mellon Bank, Bank One, and Pinnacle Financial Corp.

  • Tony Grogan
    VP Finance

    Tony Grogan has been helping emerging and established companies in strategic financial executive positions for over 20 years. He is a former Coopers & Lybrand professional and has worked in various financial positions including Corporate Controller for Flagler System, Inc, the parent company of the world-famous Breakers Resort in Palm Beach.

    During his 10 years at Flagler System, Inc., Tony managed the financial affairs of several corporate subsidiaries. These included a major residential real estate development, an ocean-front luxury condominium development, a shopping center, a computer software company, property owners associations, and the Breakers Hotel.

    As the president of his own consulting firm for many years, Tony has achieved a successful track record in helping many companies in various industries develop business plans and marketing plans. Additionally, he is the holder of a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida Atlantic University.

    In his spare time, Tony is an award-winning independent producer and cinematographer many years of experience in film, video, and television production. He has won two “Crystal Reel” awards and five national “Telly” awards. He also is a certified technical scuba diver.

  • Kathy Olsen
    Director of LOS Support Services

    Kathy Olsen is the Director of LOS Support Services. In combination with her team leadership, Kathy provides customer support for our key product, LenderAssist, as well as its integrated products. Kathy has been with OpenClose for over five years and has over thirty years of experience in the mortgage and technology fields. Prior to assuming her current role, Kathy served as an Integration Manager, leading new customer implementations before being promoted to Director of LOS Support Services. In addition to providing day-to-day client support, Kathy and her team also share training duties with the implementation and training departments. Prior to joining OpenClose, Kathy worked as a freelance web developer and social media expert. Her mortgage banking background includes managing Area Sales for a national wholesale lender and managing Operations for a national mortgage banker.

  • JC Collado
    VP Client Relations

    Fluent in multiple languages, J.C. is an expert in client communications, responsible for the supervision of the customer support department. His position includes managing the support and client satisfaction policies for the 700 customers and thousands of financial professionals who access the OpenClose network every day. J.C. has been with the company since its inception and joined the company from Magellan Mortgage where he worked as a Loan Officer.

    J.C. began his career in food service and retail management working for several national and international chains as well as owning his own retail store. Most notably, he served as Chief Representative in the Worldwide Retail Division for the fashion house, Salvatore Ferragamo.

  • Don Bowman
    VP Software Integrations

    Don manages the integration of new clients on the OpenClose software. He is also responsible for managing and coordinating technology projects for OpenClose as well as the quality control of software updates.

    Don joined OpenClose from Buffalo, NY based M&T Bank where he held several positions but served most recently as Assistant Vice President. At M&T Bank, he was responsible for managing and coordinating technology projects, which among many other projects, included the implementation of the OpenClose software for M&T Bank. His hands on experience from a client’s point of view, gives him a unique and irreplaceable perspective when working with new OpenClose clients. Don started in the mortgage business in 1985 as a loan officer and has had various positions (underwriting, loan servicing, construction lending, mortgage technology) over the years with various banks and mortgage companies.

    Don also has valuable experience in the mortgage industry, working as Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Loan Services for Shareholders Funding Inc, and Assistant Vice President of Loan Servicing/Construction Lending for Parent Federal Savings.

    Don received a Masters of Management and Masters of Information Sciences from Pennsylvania State University.
